Participating in multidisciplinary teams and support the subsurface team in developing and understanding integrated petro physical, geological and geophysical reservoir flow models. 2. Delivering comprehensive interpretations for porosity and fluid content in addition to other formation properties such as litho logy, clay content, mineralogy, permeability, fluid contacts and pressure regimes; utilizing logs, cores and other well data to characterize the formation. 3. Preparing and communicating results to subsurface group both internal and external, at a technical and business level Basic requirement : 1. Bachelor degree in Petroleum Engineering, Geology, Geophysics or Physics (Preferably Master Degree) 2. 3+ years experience in well data acquisition (mud logging, wire line logging, LWD, processing and interpretation) 3. Strong written and oral communication English skills. Server Admin Analyst Server Admin Analyst will be part of global server team. Responsible for the delivery of excellent quality service and ensure the continuing functionality of all servers, storage and backup to meet business operational requirement. Development Geologist The primary roles for the candidate will be to team with Geophysicist and Reservoir Engineer within the asset to perform reservoir characterization studies and modeling in our company, and to interact with the Well Planning team providing advice on placement of wells in the active and continuous development drilling program. Responsibilities : • Identify, recommend and deliver geological modeling studies to advance our understanding of the reservoir characteristics of current and future gas fields. • Conduct fracture characterization studies, including image log interpretation and analysis, to improve the predictions of fracture controls on permeability • Interface with reservoir engineers, petrophysicists and geophysicists in updating the reservoir characterization and reservoir geomodels to improve the history match of the reservoir flow models and high grade opportunities and optimize the development plan. • Analyze reservoir uncertainties and risks relevant to assessment of development well locations • Compile post-audit data on development well results in comparison to pre-drill predictions • Interface with our Company Subsurface Technology and industry to identify new technologies to advance our reservoir characterizations. • Identifying prospects and proposes drillable locations through a peer review process. Developing detailed well plans and fully supporting an aggressive drilling program within a multi-discipline team. • Conduct mentoring to less experience geologist. The history of Pertamina EP is interconnected with the lengthy history of oil and gas quest around the archipelago which was started in early 19th century. Between 1871 to 1885 was early quest era until oil discovery in Dutch-occupied Indonesia. Following first drilling in 1883 at Telaga Tiga, Pangkalan Berandan, South Sumatra, Royal Dutch Company was established in Pangkalan Berandan in 1885. Since then, the exploitation of oil in the archipelago began. During the East Asia war, oil production experienced a distortion. During Japan occupation, efforts were limited to rehabilitation of damaged fields and wells as the impact of war. Oil production was discontinued during the war for independence. When it was over and the nation started to run more organized governance, control over oil business became less clear. Numerous small companies spurted to take advantage of oil fortune thus causing disputes. To subdue the disputes, control over oil was given to the Army. To acnticipate it, the government established a national oil company on 10 December 1957 namely PT Perusahaan Minyak Nasional, PERMINA. In 1968, PERMINA merged with PERTAMIN and changed its name to PERTAMINA. To strengthen the new company, the government issued Law No. 8 in 1971, that positioned PERTAMINA as state-owned oil and gas company. The law obliged all oil companies interested in running their business in Indonesia to cooperate with PERTAMINA. This resulted in PERTAMINA to act as a regulator for partners who were under Cooperation Contract mechanism in PERTAMINA working areas. On the other hand, PERTAMINA also acted as operator who managed its own working areas. Parallel to the dynamic shifts of the global and national oil and gas industry, the government issued Oil and Gas Law No. 22 /2001. Due to the law enactment, PERTAMINA status was changed into a State-Owned Enterprise and renamed as PT Pertamina (Persero). Consequently, the Company’s role became an operator under Cooperation Contract with BPMIGAS as the government’s representative. The law also urged PT Pertamina (Persero) to establish separate business subsidiaries so that the business of exploration, exploitation and production of oil and gas become more manageable. It was on such ground that Pertamina EP was established on 13 September 2005. Then on 17 September 2005 PT Pertamina (Persero) signed a Production Sharing Contract (PSC) with BPMIGAS, governing all oil and gas mining areas accordingly. Eventually, majority of those areas became Pertamina EP’s working areas. At the same time, Pertamina EP also signed a Production Sharing Contract with BPMIGAS valid since17 September 2005. Nippon Steel Corporation, our major shareholder, is also the supplier of our raw materials, the Tin Mill Black Plate (TMBP), so that availability of raw materials is always ensured. We have skilled people who are always ready to assist our customers to solve their problem with tinplate. With the experience we have gained since then, accompanied by continuous improvement, we are determined to give total satisfaction to customers through our top quality tinplate, good service, and the strength we are possess. Feasibility Study Phase 1973 – 1974 PT Tambang Timah together with BHP Steel of Australia, conducted the first feasibility study for a tinplate plant with the conclusion that contruction of a plant that year was not feasible. 1980 PT Tambang Timah and PT Kratakatau Steel carried out further feasibility study in cooperation with Kaiser Engineer International Corp. USA, with conclusion of being feasible. 1981 - 1982 Decision was taken to proceed with project implementation and project specification drafting, international tender, bid evaluation, and selection. 1983 In March 1983 project design was carried out, and in October 1983 cornerstone laying ceremony was done, follow by construction work. Plant Construction Based on the result of the feasibility study, the construction of a tinplate plant of 130,000 tons per year capacity was carried out. A consortium of Mannesmann Demag Sack GmbH and Hitachi Zosen Corp. carried out the construction work. Inauguration of the completed plant by the incumbent President was done on 2 November 1985. Company Establishment PT Pelat Timah Nusantara Tbk, abbreviated PT Latinusa Tbk, was establish on 19 August 1982. PT Latinusa Tbk is a PMDN with the initial shareholders being PT Tambang Timah, PT Krakatau Steel and PT Nusamba. The current shareholders are Nippon Steel Corp (35%), Krakatau Steel (20.1%), Mitsui Co. (10%), Nippon Steel Trading (5%), Metal One (5%), PT Baruna Inti Lestari (4.9%), and Public (20%).
